A very fun day in Frederick, MD!

We rented out Area 31 and invited all sorts of families and friends out to come get their pictures taken. It was a great turnout! 

Lots of pictures turned out amazing, and it was hard to pick out a few just to show everyone!

Ava is one of the most beautiful little girls I've ever had the opportunity to meet and photograph. 

Her spirit and happiness just radiated on this cold fall morning, and it was an absolute pleasure to capture these moments with her. Just amazing!

Always a ton of fun! 

I do photography at this event every year, and it's always full of fun people with amazing and creative costumes and awesome personalities!

The winner of the costume contest this year was Lego Man... he made his costume by hand out of cardboard and paint. I was so impressed!

This wedding was such a breath of fresh air. Everything from the flowers to the dress had a touch of homemade love with it.

The bells from the Baker Park bell tower chimed with Pachabel's Canon... a very popular wedding song, but hearing it from the bell tower blew me away unlike any other rendition I had ever heard before!

Lindsay and Ryan were so wonderful. They radiated nothing but love for each other and for their guests (and even I was feeling it during the tearful mother/son dance!)

Many happy days to you both, and thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. 

Lovely venue, lovely couple!

I originally was there to capture video of the day, but I found myself picking up my camera to assist capturing the night!

Tara and Rob were both very gracious and a lot of fun. It was my absolute pleasure to capture their wedding on film... both video and a little bit of photo!

Just returned from Ocean Isle Beach, NC, after taking exterior promotional pictures for a local beach house rental... what a beautiful vacation spot!

This house was absolutely a treasure... sleeps ten, pet friendly, and WHAT A VIEW! 

Can I come and stay?  :)

Seriously. One of the most beautiful weddings I've done in ages. We met up at the Frederick County Courthouse for a short ceremony in their lovely courtyard, then an entertaining lunch at Miyako's. Patience and Yaya were an absolute pleasure to work with. They and their families were welcoming and loving.

I absolutely loved my session with Michelle and Max today. 

We met at Baker Park, in Frederick, Maryland. I learned of Max's love of dinosaurs and playgrounds, and Michelle was a wonderful mom that loved spending every moment with her son. 

I wanted to capture the playfulness of Max... he wasn't one to like to pose! But when we asked him to just be himself and go off and play, I saw another side to this shy but sweet boy... and soon that silliness came to surface and we had a blast! 

I've done photos for Ally before, and she's always been a ton of fun to photograph.

Ally loves to dance. Her teacher is the same teacher that taught her mother as a child, and you can plainly see that Ally radiates talent.

Our session began with Ally posing in an adorable number of costumes, all of which she wears for her recitals. It wasn't long until her sweet puppy, Cupcake, wanted to join in on the fun! 
In the end, her photos turned out beautiful, and we all had a wonderful time.

I wanted to start sharing my experiences and newer work with everyone, so I decided to start a blog. I will keep my entries brief, as I'm sure the majority of people just want to see samples of my work instead of reading my babble.  :)


Anyway, I'll be sure to update every time I have a new job.
